Copyright Policy

wexioStream ("we", "us", "our") strictly respects the intellectual property rights of creators, filmmakers, musicians, and artists worldwide. We expect all users of our file hosting and video distribution services to do the same.

We operate in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA") and international intellectual property treaties.

1. Zero Tolerance for Copyright Piracy

Users of wexioStream may only upload, host, share, and monetize content that they own, or for which they hold explicit written licenses and distribution rights from the copyright holder.

Uploading unauthorized copies of commercial movies, television shows, sporting broadcasts, musical recordings, software packages, or proprietary digital assets violates our Terms of Service and will result in swift content removal and account penalties.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe material hosted on wexioStream infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal DMCA Notice containing the following six (6) mandatory statutory elements:

1. Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Identification of Copyrighted Work: Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., title, registration number, or link to the official work).
3. Identification of Infringing Material: The exact URLs or unique file identifiers hosted on wexioStream that you request to be removed or disabled.
4. Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and official email address.
5. Good-Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. Perjury Penalty Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

• Standard Processing Time: Valid takedown notices are processed within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) business hours, disabling global CDN delivery immediately upon review.

3. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification (e.g., you possess a valid license or the usage constitutes Fair Use), you may file a Counter-Notification containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the URL at which the material appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your legal name, physical address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or competent courts where we operate), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

Outcome of Counter-Notification:

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we promptly forward a copy to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within ten to fourteen (10–14) business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order against the alleged infringer, we are legally entitled to restore the disabled content.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy (Three-Strike Rule)

wexioStream maintains an active, uncompromising Repeat Infringer Policy:

• Every verified DMCA takedown notice lodged against a creator's uploaded media records a formal copyright strike against their account.
• First Strike: Warning notice and mandatory review of copyright guidelines.
• Second Strike: Temporary suspension of upload capabilities and hold on monetization payouts.
• Third Strike: Permanent account termination. All uploaded assets across our global storage clusters will be permanently purged, and future access to wexioStream will be banned.
• Egregious Infringers: In cases of blatant, commercial-scale digital piracy or automated bot uploading, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the account on the very first infraction.

5. Creator Protection & Self-Reporting

If you are a registered creator on wexioStream and discover that another user has scraped or re-uploaded your original content without permission, contact our Trust & Safety team directly at [email protected] with proof of original authorship for accelerated resolution.
